Description
Development of practical and innovative models and tools to end-users facing climate change to build more resilient cities. The project will provide tools to assess urban resilience following a multisectorial approach, for current and future climate scenarios and including multiple hazards. This holistic approach to urban resilience will enable city managers and urban systems operators to decide the optimal investments to cope with future situations.

Results
Innovative tools to support infrastructure managers and urban service providers in addressing the climate change challenges, contributing to more resilient cities. Based on the HAZUR® (method and software) approach, the project develops multisectorial tools for current and future climate scenarios, including multiple hazards, interdependencies among services, monitoring the city and simulating cascading effects for impacts that affect it, as well as contributing to the cities’ resilience plans.
